If you have a choice, the rest being equal take a 2016 with the 6-speed. You will like it and I don't think anyone has complained about it. If salesperson doesn't know just look for P R N D 4 2 1 on the shift indicator.
Ford has sway bars front and rear. DIY the "Cheap Handling Fix" CHF. a search will turn it up. Make sure you or dealer puts Blue Locktite on the rear SB bushing brackets.
