2014 Itasca Elipse 42QD...problem with slides?

We purchased a 2014 Itasca Elipse 42QD from Camping World in Tampa, a friend has been looking at the same coach, same year. She was told by another Camping World location that there is a recall on the slides on the coach by Winnebago. I specifically asked our sales person if there were any issues with the slide, because the one full wall slide is huge. She said there were on the older models, but that has been fixed in the 2014s. We called Winnebago and they say there is no recall for any slide issues. So I search for others having problems and it seems that there were problems in 2013 with the slides, but I haven't seen any posts in 2014........but now I am concerned...........we are leaving for a 6 week trip the end of this month and I don't want to be out on the road with 3 dogs and have an issue with the slides.

Can someone fill me in? Have any of you had problems with your slides? Is there a recall and someone at Winnebago got it wrong? If there is an issue, I only have 2 weeks to get it fixed!!
