2015 Coachhouse 24 B van Sprinter rv

Just watched the walkthrough on the
2015 Coachhouse 24 Sprinter rv on the 3500 chassis.
This is the best Sprinter floorplan I have ever seen and I particularly like the bathroom at the rear. But where is dining area other than the pullup/out folddown table up front. I would likely put a tripod/table at rear between two couches/beds: Maybe?
Go to Youtube and search for 2015 Coachhouse 24.

The Coach House plan is a recycled plan with center beds that were popular a decade ago. It is actually a pretty functional plan in things I tried to achieve, but in order to have a separate shower like you have in the Arriva you kill 20% of your total interior space where a standard wet bathroom will use about 6% of the total space. To me that is too much of a sacrifice of space for a shower you would seldom use. Also Coach House uses "old school" technology meaning in order to effectively camp with your RV you would have to seek traditional campgrounds and at least an electrical hookup.

Good job, Davydd and Mrs. Davydd! Beautiful rig, too!
  • Nice van but I'm still partial to the Travato 59k which has 30' wide beds and I like the shorter length.
  • I like the floor plan because it fits my needs as a single RVer looking to downsize and not give up anything except maybe walking around space.

I would like to see it with at least one real twin bed. RV manufacturers play fast and loose with bed size terminology, what CoachHouse is calling "twin" here is at most a cot (11 inches narrower than a twin). This is a bed size seldom sold here; in Europe it would be an "extra small single" if it were slightly wider and slightly longer, and might be used as a child's bed, graduating from the same width but shorter crib size.

Thanks Davydd. You are right as usual. They do have a removal dining table which fits up front as I found out just now.
Your rv is beautiful. Maybe when you get tired of it--can I have it? Oh well. We are downsizing from this huge, ocean-side home so there will be lots of money left over! Hmm.

Regards and have a great summer
