2015 Coachman prism 24g

Lots of questions, r.v..net always has the answers.

Getting ready for retirement, looking to hit the road for a while. We want to tow a Subaru forester, 5 speed. Saw one of these Coachmans and liked the room and basic design.

Any input would be greatly appreciated. Lots of info needed. We want to get away from the TT.

Thanks in advance Mike
  • I have a 2011 prism 220. Have put 40,000 miles on it, with only minor problems. Yes you will have some items that may not be correct out of the box, however all RVs do. Anything that I did not correct myself I went to the factory in Ind. I highly recommend them. Great people to work with.

Oh yes we do not use a toad as I have not had any problems finding parking when in towns. However I did rent a car in once in Boston.
  • Hi getgoin! We just moved from a 'B' after 100,000 miles to a Prism this past Fall. So far only a couple shakedown trips in it - but am very happy. Opted for the 24J model vs the G. Ironically we also have a 5-speed Forester that I will likely set up as a toad this coming season. A couple of fit and finish issues in the Coachmen, but we found that in all the manufacturers we looked at. In the end Coachmen won - had the floorplan/features we were looking for. Have fun in '16!
