On our older Jayco, only one cable goes to GROUND. The others pile onto the POSITIVE POST.
So, try this. Trace to find the one that bolts right to the Chassis. Ideally have one "Pull it to You" (we did this in the old phone company "frames") by tugging a cable while you, under that area of the coach, looks to see which one is moving. When you're both on the same one you'll feel each other's tugs very clearly.
Start with the one with the white band. It's common in 12VDC battery systems for Positive to be Black, and Negative to be White. I think Jayco applied that tape as a guide.
Also, our Jayco has FOUR cables on Positive, which is what you'd have if the way I see it turns out to be how it is. All ours are White, go figure. I see RED as POSITIVE and I have Red Electrical Tape. Have bound all four together in Red Tape for the Positive.
We have the cheap Escapade and the battery tray was just screwed down to the brackets. Just a couple weeks ago I added Drawer Slides from Home Depot to make it like yours.
