Monaco always had the big 500 and 600 HP engines...
Navistar built on the Roadmaster, they really did nothing to the Monaco coaches other than slide their engines in the smaller ones and put on a really funny looking front end.
The thing with the outboard air bags is the lack of body sway. Monaco's did not even come from the factory with anti-sway bars, they just were not needed.
Expensive to build? heck yes, I suppose. I just can't wait till it's time to buy shocks... lol. 2 at each corner!
Foretravel is the only other company to build a similar wide stance suspension.
Not meaning to put down anyone or anything, but you trailing arm guys just wouldn't get it. Oh well, end of an era... again.
