2016 Fleetwood 38K Pace Arrow

Has anyone seen one of the new 2016 Fleetwood Pace Arrow Diesel Coaches yet? 38'8" 38B with bunks and a 38K with bath and 1/2.

I love the lay out but wondering about the Fleetwood quality and service?

  • Fleetwood did not survive the crash but they did back their products warranties and support during the bankruptcy and were bought out by the same holding co who now own Monaco. I had a couple of Fleetwoods. I got a new '89 Jamboree Class C and then moved up to a '96 Pace Arrow that I had until I got an '03 Moutain Aire. I was happy with the Fleetwoods but once I had a Newmar I found real quality. Now I am in antiques for MHs and enjoying them also.

Pretty cool they were able to cram 1-1/2 baths into a 38' coach. The floor plan looks nice, although it seems some storage might have been sacrificed in order to fit the half bath. I like the floor plan a lot.

I don't know anything about Fleetwood's customer service. They're a pretty big company, though, and they make all kinds of RVs as well as modular homes. They weathered the crash of a few years ago and are still manufacturing.

FYI: if I am correct Fleetwood was one of the companies that did not weather the crash. Not sure if they went bankrupt and were bought out or just plain bought out. In any event it is not the same Fleetwood as it was prior to the crash.

I know nothing more about their products.
  • Fleetwood builds a good coach at a fair price and their customer service is second to none. I had a Pace 36D (same floor plan) and it served me well. Don't know what the 38K is like but years ago, Pace Arrow was top of the line, loaded with all the features that were options on other coaches.

I think you'll start seeing them at the RV shows soon

I was wrong about Fleetwood. Here's a quote from our friends at Wikipedia: "Founded in 1950, after a series of financial difficulties in the 21st century, the company was broken up, with manufactured housing bought by Cavco Industries and RVs incorporated by a private equity firm into what became Allied Specialty Vehicles which has now formed as a collective manufacturer for Fleetwood RV, American Coach, Monaco, Holiday Rambler, and Trek recreational vehicle brands."
