X-2, I agree with this post, you have to check the VIN on the coach that you want to buy to see what year it is. I got a extra $20,000.00 off my coach due to this! I own a Winnebago the chassis is a 2003 and the coach is a 2004 my RV was completely finished off the product line January 15th 2004. So therefore Winnebago legally can register it as a 2004. When I buy chassis parts like shocks, I have to order 2003 model year shocks because Winnebago changed chassis in 2004. Any 2004 chassis parts will not fit my 2003 chassis. You asked a great question!
