just picking this thing up and cant say I have ever owned one this big in a class C. Does anyone have any experience with this particular model and If so, what surprises were waiting for you? Any tips/tricks are greatly appreciated!

Did you get an independent inspection prior to buying? If you aren't familiar enough with an RV, an inspection is the best way to ensure against surprises and educate you on your purchase so you aren't flying blind. Make and model don't make much difference in an 8 year old RV and there's nothing unique about it. Its more about how it was cared for. No one on here can armchair what surprises might come up.
