2018 Thor Palazzo, have you heard anything?

I've seen some people saying thay've ordered a 2018 Palazzo. Have any of you seen pricing or any information on the changes 2017 to 18? I've never quite understood how you order a coach without knowing colors etc?

A big reason for ordering instead of buying off the lot is to order just what you want. How can you do that without the above information?

  • I have spoken to several Palazzo owners who love their coaches. Our needs are so different it is hard to speak to some questions.

Thread below on another RV forum about someone who just ordered a 2018 Pallazo. Maybe you can ask him where he got his info? I think there is some stuff with colors on that thread, too, for the cabinetry and stuff.

I saw some 2018 Jayco's on the floor at the local RV show last month. That's one way to get a sneak peek.

When you place your order, the dealer will know exactly what options are in and out.

If this is your first RV, I'd suggest waiting until you can see one in person. Just a thought.
  • I just spoke with the sales department of Thor and he said he didn't know the changes, colors etc, but knew some of it is out there.

He's having someone call me who handles things at the dealer level who will know more than he does. It always strikes me as funny how dealers will often know more than someone at the manufacturing level?
  • Hi Burch, Only if it has something to do with the Palazzo? You enjoy your new coach it's a nice one and thanks for your post.
  • I can't comment on the 2018 Thor Palazzo but I recently ordered a 2018 Thor Miramar 35.3. The dealer printed me a change sheet that showed the differences between the 2017 models and the 2018 models. Colors and options changed on the Miramar line. I don't know if any of the changes on the Miramar are relevant to the Palazzo but I can post it here if you want.

crasster, you lost me, what does that mean exactly?

I believe Crasster is referring to the the qc issues faced by Thor a while back with the slides. Since has been addressed and frankly is no worse than most other production manufacturers. Many happy Thor owners out there. The Palazzo is an entry level Dp and as such a buyer needs to have realistic expectations. But haters gonna hate.
  • Seriously research that MFG well. Look at the comments throughout the site on Thor. I think it may give you a better insight about the MFG.

I would imagine dealers and the manufacturer know all that detail even if it's not posted on the site.
