Are the steps working freely. Lube and assist them to see if that helps. Easy to unhook the linkage under the steps to get them moving. The motor stops when there is resistence, What kind of motor and is it 2 or 3 step? I have a spare Kwikee motor if that turns out to be your trouble, for a 3 step. PM me
