1999 Discovery 36t 5.9 275 HP and 610 ft. lb. torque.
MH solo more than enough power.
MH with 5000 lb. jeep wrangler enough power.
MH with 3/4 ton Silverado toad and rzr under powered.
MH with 9500 lb. cargo trailer way under powered.
Averaging 12 MPG priceless. But than we don't buy these because the are fuel efficient.
You won't be to the top of the hills the fastest but then most trips have more miles of level than hill climbing. I tend to run heavy and ask a lot of the little cummins but she gets it done. I am able to run the Grapvine at 65 solo, could maintain 55 - 60 with the jeep, run 40 - 45 with the truck and rzr, and 30 mph with the cargo trailer. Solo or towing the jeep if I lost momentum I could accelerate back up to speed with the others if I lose momentum not enough to gain speed back.
