Transmission also plays a crucial role. fellow travelers had a 2001 expedition same motor as our DP but the 5 speed Allison compared to our 6 speed Allison. They could not keep up with us. Now they have a 34' vista with the 6.7 cummins and 6 speed Allison and I can not keep up with them.
