Mine has generator, shore power and inverter, and somehow makes is work. I'd be curious to learn what the sequence is, as I've never gone through it. I know it has a 50A Surge-Gaurd 40250-RVC that serves as the main transfer switch between shore power and generator, so the inverter must come in further downstream, maybe through the power management system.
if you read some previous posts its all explained.A class A DP comes with two transfer switches one where gen and SP are switched and one inside the inverter/converter.Thats why you don't have to shut off your inverter when on sp or gen service the inverter automatically switches through its own circuit system
