Got good responses and stimulated some discussion, sounds like the answer to my question about being able to simply swap out the shore power cord for a 50A cord is not the way to go. We've never really had too much of a problem even with using both ac's in Moab, just have to watch the amps on the control panel and juggle appliances accordingly. Some of you guys appear to be really good with diy wiring projects.
