Thank you for your insight. The van in question is my 2012 Town and country Limited. I would have to have a lube pump installed, and I'm familiar with the rest of the requirements for towing. I'm mostly concerned about home taxing that load will be on the 310 HP V10.

As said many times before, the V10, the 7.4, the 8.1 or any other comparable MH engine is the least of any towing concerns. The tranny could be on long 6% grades though, but doubt seriously if you'll ever have a problem with the ford in question.
