40 ft compared to 45 ft

I have no experience driving a 45 ft motor home. However, I've had a 41' dp and now have a 38' dp. I've driven most of hiway 1 and most of hiway 49 in Ca when I had a 32 ft gas motor home. I've also driven from Willits CA to Fort Brag CA..........all these roads have portions that are narrow and very tight turns, some places speeds for turns are posted at 15mph. Trust me, some parts of those roads even in a 32 ft are tight. There are some places that are narrow for a car, but obviously doable. Only portions of both of those hiways have length restrictions. I'd never let that be a deciding factor in my motor home choice.
