After driving 60 miles rv starts to lag..can't get over 30mph...hard to restart..after cools off she runs like a champ...had alternator checked, good..anybody ???

Check the distributor if it has a hall effect transistor. I had one go bad on a 1984 motorhome. Mine caused skipping like it was out of gas.
