- smlrangerExplorerNot uncommon on many of the Provost conversions. Saw one a few days ago in Portland, OR. Suspect they are heat pumps and not just AC units.
- Mr_Mark1ExplorerSnowman, I would say they are all air conditioners. There is a guy on the Prevost site that I read that is building (or wants to) a new entertainer bus (he's a driver/owner). He wants 7 air units as his clients want to be comfortable all of the time.
It's not that they need all of them on at one time, but if one or two go out, they will have plenty of air to keep the clients happy. It could also be that this guy will have a larger generator to run all the units if needed.
Our new coach will have 4 roof airs and I can run all of them off of the inverters going down the road as we'll have four 3,500 watt 24 volt Outback Sine Wave Inverters.
