8.1 L engine computor module performance up grade

I have an 05 workhorse chasis with the 8.1 L engine and Allison 5 speed tranny. i am interested in getting the ecm reflashed to get a little more pulling power in the hills. the two companies I have heard doing this is ultraRV (ultra power) and Wait4me. Can anyone comment on the real world results they noticed driving there RV and is it a worth while investment?

    You may have read this if not do it. Every thing he says is true Jesse Bubb is brilliant. I had my 05 done by him and I was impressed. If I hadn't of p----d him off I would have my 08 done too.

    I had the Ultra done on my 8.1. It helps in all aspects of driving and it is set up for what you normally do. If you tow and drive in the mountains it will be programmed differently than if you are a flatlander. I figure it was money well spent. Jon sent me a module to plug in to my OBDII post for me to drive with for awhile. Then they programmed it for what I wanted and gave the before and after specs. I kept my old ECM for a spare.
