The reports usually give them 3-4 years of life, while flooded batteries in the same cars can last 10 years. ..........
Where did you come up with that?
My Lifeline 8D's that I have were installed in Jan 2004. Two are used as house and the third is the chassis battery. They show no signs of dying

What does that have to do with your statement that AGM batteries USUALLY last 3-4 years unlike flooded batteries that CAN last 10 years?
Your argument wasn't that AGM batteries cost more - it was that AGM batteries don't last as long as flooded cell (which is untrue).
Read my reply again. I was comparing car batteries as happy with cheap GC batteries for over 10 years I had no need for deep charge.
AGM batteries for luxury cars cost in range of $250 and again, those who put them in last 5-6 years had them already replaced.
I bought flooded Bosch battery for my car for $98 and it come with 90 months warranty.
Are deep cycle AGM lasting longer than car AGM?
Dons is the first one I see giving them positive lasting review.
Is he getting his money worth comparing to $48 I spend?
