Make sure that WD hitches are OK on a Class C. I believe at least some manufacturers recommend against them. That 8000 is an odd rating. I find 7500- and 10000-lb hitches, no 8000's. Makes me wonder if it's a down-rated 10000 hitch. I doubt the Class C's allow the typical "10% rule" where a 3500 has a 350-lb tongue weight rating. 5000 would be 500, but I think at least some 5000's are rated 350 on a Class C. You may find a 7500-lb rated Class C can tow that as a toad but not as a trailer.
