The chassis has already been able to handle way more than the hitch the RV makers have been putting on. I think some of you might be overthinking this too much. Stay under the hitch limits, axle weights, and if applicable the posted tongue weight limit on the coach, and you'll be fine. Has anyone in the last decade even heard of a class C failing apart from towing too much? I haven't.
