80mph gusts wind ..ripped off half roof
A couple days ago Utah was hit with winds steady at 40-50 and gusts up to 80mph... during that time the wind side edge of my roof on my 1993 itasca sunrise began to peell back... after a few minutes ...

The adjuster was just here and didnt make me feel very good about getting any help with getting it repaired.. he took some photos.. then got a ladder and right to a small spot and said "here is where it first came apart"... the glue holding the fiberglass down had dried and allowed water and overtime caused weak spot and the wind started pulling until it got under fiberglass enought to start coming off....
I thought it weird because the entire roof was covered in tarp and the back half is where it is pull over 1/2 way off.. stopped by ac unit being mounted to aluminum frame ... but the only spot he checked was the source of problem..?.
I am sure he knows his job and he may know what to look at first..but it made me feel he was just acting out the part so he could move on...he seemed like a nice guy..but I am sure. They are pressured to find something ....
he said he will send his report and pics to Colorado and I should hear back in couple days..
i made videos of the actual wind causing issue .. but he wasnt interested..
im not an insurance guy..just retired police officer and vet... who is hoping for best...
I will add a post when the final word comes down.
I am going to take it to a local RV shop in American Fork..Stewarts and see what it would take but they are saying they are more than 3 weeks out for appointments...
