80mph gusts wind ..ripped off half roof
A couple days ago Utah was hit with winds steady at 40-50 and gusts up to 80mph... during that time the wind side edge of my roof on my 1993 itasca sunrise began to peell back... after a few minutes ...

Another update from Progressive insurance... I left a message asking when I could get a written denial with the details for the denial.. The person from Colorado called back this afternoon and said it would get them in couple days.
I asked if the denial explained an appeal process or what I could do if I was not satisfied with the finding.. she told me that the claim was denied and her manager had already reviewed the claim and he was the one who recommended the denial.. i was told there was no other appeal process in Progressive and it was denied.
I was very calm and nice.. as recommended above .. the entire call
I asked if they had got the reports from any weather bureau to show the wind speeds in our area wuth gusts reported to have been 80 and over the mountains a few miles away up to 100 ...
She paused for awhile and said I did look at something that said wind was 50mph..
I asked uf it was suppose to reflect the wind in my area. She wasnt sure.
I reminded her that I had actual footage of it occuring which showed the roof fine then 30 min later showed it being pulled up from the side.. with the with fast..
I asked a few other questions about if any of those were also part of the review and that I offered all this info when adjuster here.. she said it was not included..
And no appeal process.. claim already denied .. so what could I do...
I explained the large amount of premiums I have paid in for all my different policies and I would begin shopping for a new company and as my various policies lapse I will switch them...
she just said..sorry to hear that.. but no appeal option..
I asked about state insurance board and she was just quiet.. I also said I was getting a report from a repair shop on their thoughts..
another thing I thought was interesting was when I mentioned that my RV had a aluminum skeleton..I guessall winnebego does.. she said that her report saud complete wood frame
