The issue is Winnie does have a WRITTEN maintenance procedure for the roof - unfortunately it seems some owners are unaware of this requirement.
Do you have the actual directions and written maintenance requirements as published by Winnebago?
A simple internet search turns up NOTHING by Winnebago but there are posts by individual owners about various roof problems. The OP, or any owner, cannot be expected to get his instructions from the internet to protect his investment. Sealing the perimeter of the roof is not something that is required on every RV so if something is truly unique about this roof design, and Winnebago does not specifically list exact maintenance requirements, along with WARNINGS if the instructions are not followed exactly, than Progressive must pay at least to get things back to before the storm.
Apparently the claim adjuster NEVER asked the OP if he had done any roof maintenance.
