80mph gusts wind ..ripped off half roof
A couple days ago Utah was hit with winds steady at 40-50 and gusts up to 80mph... during that time the wind side edge of my roof on my 1993 itasca sunrise began to peell back... after a few minutes ...

Yet in this case...
1. A rubber roof wouldn't have blown off.
and
2. It sure would have been a lot cheaper and easier to fix!
A Do-It-Yourself guy (or gal) can easily fix/repair/replace a rubber roof. That certainly isn't the case with this one. :W
