is there something that you can do to keep the propane tank from rusting away mine lasted 12 years i notice alot of rust under and around it. is that a normal for that age time to replace. thanks! ...

Mine's 31 years old and still fine. Regulator finally took a dump a few weeks ago, but everything else is fine. Wire brush and some rustoleum goes a long way.
