We are the proud owners of a '96 Georgie boy Cruismaster . Ordered in Jan '96 and brought it home in April of '96. Always thought we would eventually get another unit. But it is such a well built and well designed unit we are still driving it 20 years later. In the last 3 years we have replaced all belts and brakes, second set of new tires. and alignment and a new fuel pump. Also gave it it's first tuneup. Pump is in the gas tank so it had to be dropped. Our unit is a Chevy on p30 chassis with a 454 engine not the vortec. We had the choice of the vortec engine and a small couch slide out both items new to market that year so both unproven. We never regretted our choice. It has close to 70,000 been to California, the Badlands 3 times, Florida, theCarolinas, Canada and thousand lakes area in New York and many Michigan and Indiana campgrounds. We did have a Banks system and Steer Safe put on in 2000 while at a rally in Pomona Ca. It was always stored inside in the winter months, we now have our own pole barn for the last 12 years so if we aren't using it it is in the barn. Those are some of the things to consider would need attention by a new owner. We have always averaged 8 mpg pulling a small '99 Saturn wagon. We also drive between 55 and 60 mph.
