We are looking for an older used Class A MH. We saw advertised a 1995 Georgie Boy Class A 30' CruiseMaster widebody.
The ad says fuel injected 460 Ford with full Banks exhaust and cold air intake with a Ford WorkHorse Chassis. So we were reading about Georgie Boys and saw the subject of chassis brought up. How do you tell what chassis a MH has? This particular MH has 98,000 miles on it and he is asking $12,500. It has 2 Kyocera 135 w panels w/controller. 5000w Kohler Generator with only 100 hrs and what sounds like a lot of other upgrades/replacements.
SO--Is this chassis a bad or a good one?
Is 98,000 miles too many?
I know its hard to give advice without actually seeing the MH but what would be your reaction if you saw this ad? Any advice would be appreciated!
Ford makes it's own chassis. Workhorse was a stand alone company that had it's beginning with the GM P30 purchase in 1999.
Just sold our 98 36 foot, top of the line, Tropical with a tag axle for $12,500 and just under NADA low retail, if that's of any help. Needed a few things, but otherwise in excellent condition and like no other.
