I did call Atwood of which they suggested like bgum, a smaller griddle. That is NOT the solution I am looking for. I was hoping someone on the forum here found metal knobs. This way when my wife goes for the knob and it's dang hot, that would be her reminder to be cooking off the other burner. Short of that, we are working on knobs that will eventually resemble two wads of black chewing gum.
I figure when the instructional decal gets ugly enough, I'll remove it. Hopefully by then we'll remember which direction is "On" and which is "Off". You would think they'd stamp that into the steel instead of providing the arrows on a decal. I'd attempt stamping it myself except that our top is white porcelain coated.
