A little tip for all the generator problems poping up

I dont know how to post a link, but google gas related problems on lawn mowers & read what it has to say. Our gen set engines are no different from the twin cylindered engines on riding lawn mowers...

If possible, just shut off the fuel supply and run the genny out of gas if you're not going to use it for a while. If there's no gas in the carb, everything will work fine when you go to use it again.
At the end of every summer, I just run my lawnmower and everything else out of gas and store it for the winter.
