Robert, thanks for that great photo you posted above of part of the Aussie outback. That road in the photo is exactly the type we have to travel on in the Western U.S. when we go rockhounding in our Itasca Class C!
Normal Outback road in Australia, except you are travelling hundreds of miles on one road, not 30-50miles as in the US . I have travelled on dirt roads in the US.Further inland you get in Australia, similar roads going over 1000miles as Tony Lee has mentioned.. Some roads are as big as Utah and Nevada combined
