A stupid question about towing

I'd consider towing something like that little "Smart Car" behind our 24 foot Itasca (I normally abhor towing anything) ... IF AND ONLY IF it was available in four wheel drive and it's wheel wells permitted fitment of larger diameter tires for a bit more ground clearance ... for use in our rockhounding excursions down/up/over narrow desert roads away from camp.

I sure wish I could find a modern version of the (legendary?) little teeny Suzuki Samurai to tow!! ;)
