why are people concerned about a 2 million mile coach, or even a million mile one? Is anyone here going to drive theirs even 500K? These companies boast about the mileage these coaches can last but who drives that many mies other than the bus companies they were made for in the first place. I understand marketing to some point in that they have to say these thing to have some kind of justification in charging the kind of dollars they do. JMHO, also if you are interested I can point you to a 03 45' Country Coach with 16K miles for less than 200K
The point is that it CAN go 2,000,000 miles most likely with normal maintenance. We can pretty much figure 100% of the people in RV's will not drive that many miles.
A Prevost owner on the Prevost site said when he lifts the right front of the frame off of the ground, the left lifts too with virtually no difference in measurement. The chassis's are that solid.
You really have to see the underbelly of these chassis's to appreciate them. Everything from plumbing, wiring, cabinetry, etc. are top notch. The exterior is made of a Kevlar fiberglass composite that is slick as glass with no waving.
It all comes at a price for sure, but the quality is there.
I have to say I'm not sure of the exact material a Newell is made of but they also have a beautiful finish.
