I have a friend who has a 2002 Prevost. HIs windshield is 189 bucks and mine is 1700. So there is some places that it costs less and others where it will be about the same. The components on a provost are bigger in some areas so they can go the 2 million miles. If it was between and Newmar and a Newell, I would take the Newell, I am sitting here for service in T and they are a Newell place for older Newells about 10 years old but they look to be in great shape still. I do not think I would trade my Foretravel for one but the new 2014 was sure a joy to behold.
Just to make things clear as mud, PREVOST is a BUS!!!
They are and have been converted into motorhomes by lots of different companies, including Marathon, country coach and Monaco, and a bunch of others, including Prevost themselves.
But it is a long haul BUS. Meant to carry paying passengers coast to coast for a profit. That is why they are so solid, so long lasting. They are built so greyhound, others, and dozens of charter companies can run the wheels off them for millions of miles in complete safety.
Where Newell and Foretravel are great motorhomes, Prevost and Bluebird are great buses converted into great motorhomes.
