Both fan and compressor capacitors checked or replaced, as it can't start with a bad capacitor and a common occurance? Any fans froze and giving it a spin will get it going? Then taking it apart and applying some lube might keep it going for a long time. With no cooling, you could have lost some refrigerant and a tech might solder in some fittings and charge it back up reasonable. In fact, it might pay in the long run, to have a tech look into the situation.
