The reason for starting this thread is from my little understanding of automobile engineering and the collision survivability compared to diesel pushers.DP's do not fair as well as cars or P/U's towing trailers IMHO. Albeit, the towed trailer has to stop also in a collision on a Pick up, so maybe that's another conversation.
It really makes me think a lot more about how I drive. Definitely allow for more room between cars compared to my dually/fiver.Also it makes me think about the speed I travel and how you can effectively avoid a bad frontal collision. Given,sometimes you won't know what's coming.
I'd bet the injuries are more on the motohomes. I know I'm suppose to forget about it and enjoy the experience. I do, honestly .... but it's on my mind.
