How do these DP motor homes fair in a frontal collisions. Anyone been in one? I can say this is about the only thing that worries me compared to my old Fiver/dually.
There is a lot of documented information regarding the "front windshields" of Class A's in 'minor' accidents. The windows explode and the occupants usually die from the implosion of the windows.
A Class C is on a van/truck chassis that MUST comply with crash specifications. Same with pulling a FW, the 'tow vehicle truck' MUST comply with crash specifications.
I have met many RV'ers where sometimes all that has to happen is a vehicle bump into any where on the front of a Class A and the windshield cracks. Love em, but IMHO there is NO protection what so ever in a Class A regarding a front end or side front end collisions.
