Seriously, C&SL and others, I fully agree with you about the safe driving is your own responsibility, and that our odds of injury or worse is greater in an big RV. Realizing what could happen, I try my best to make sure it doesn't. As part of a volunteer gig, we had to take and pass the government defensive driving course again. it was a good experience to go back and review the principals about driving and protecting yourself again. Although I did gt my first(in a long time) speeding ticket from an enthuastic Officer a few days ago. I try to know my limitations, and those of my vehicle, and try to drive and conduct myself within those limitations. Don't always succeed, better to know and do than to go blissifully along with the opinion that I am the most important and I should be able to do what I want without assuming any responsibility therefore. As the bigger percentage of drivers do.
