Yeah I needed more battery power then just the one underneath. mine is a 2004 ca 23a. I ended up with another 125ah under the bed for a 250ah total with 400watt solar system.
The key to adding another battery is to find the convertor fuse panel mine had an isolater near by thats where you can tap into the other battery under the coach.
I had enough room to add a 3000 watt xantrax invertor tapped directly into one of the main breakers that run my tv bluray entertainment system and some not all outlets for charging and other low amp use outlets. The isolater uses the outside battery to be included although it should be much closer to the indoor battery but it works good.
Must use agm only inside the coach. I boondock exclusively and always have more power then i can use except in winter camping.
Genny only comes on for light ac use to cool down and convection oven for some cooking never to charge the batteries i disconnected the. Convertor dont need it anymore.
