"FeeLine"......I owned a Monaco Diplomat for almost ten years. During that time the door never needed adjustment, but as years went on, it needed lubing at least once a year.
On mine, as part of the annual service, I took a can of WD40 and sprayed the two lock mechanisms liberally until the WD40 ran down the door. With the door open, shoot the WD40 freely into the two mechanisms on the side of the door. Heavily spray the handles inside and out and then clean everything up.
Once I was done, I took Pledge and cleaned the door, door frame and seals. This servicing kept my door working smoothly for years and reduced squeaks and noise.
Lastly, check the catch mechanism that holds the screen door to the main door. If not adjusted properly, it will cause the screen door not to release and hang up on the door frame. It causes the door to stick once it starts to open. If you look closely at the mechanism and how it functions, you'll see how it can hang up if not adjusted. It has two screws that hold the catch down and allow adjustment.
Some may disagree with my method above, but my door open and closed freely for 10 years. Give it a try, it won't hurt anything.
