We bought a 2003 30 ft. Itasca Class C with 2 slides in 2013(10 years old) for $23000 and still have and like it but after spending lots on repair, replacement and some improvements. I don't think the age is the crucial factor but rather condition and history of care. I think you can get a really nice MH ( C or A) for $40000 or less but frankly all of them are sort of a money pit. We have no regrets about ours and have no plans to trade. Ours is really too small for 3 kids. Technically it sleeps 6 but only if very young kids. Two extra isn't bad but you need nice weather so as to spend most of the time outside. Unless you will have them a lot, you just make do for the short time they will want to go.
