Thanks for the Winnie screw-defect issue and the surface prep/application tips. It sure would be good to be prepared before I lay the stuff down
The issue on this RV is probably like many others. I want to attach the eternabond to the vertical side of the 'gutter' but that surface is only 1/4 inch wide. Then the eternabond needs to bend 90 degrees to go over the narrow top surface of the gutter and then bend 90 degrees the other way to go up on the vertical side portion of the fiberglass roof.
However, the eternabond site says not to bend the stuff less than the radius of a quarter.
I wish I had a cross-section diagram of the roof assembly. It looks like the roof material is tucked behind the gutter and used a sealant or adhesive to mate the two. This sure seems like a poor way to waterproof a roof. It's like shingles tucking under the one below it.
