I received a price of 791 apiece installed for new 295/80/22.5
Michelin XZE2+ radials including all install charges from our local
large tire place. Since they are almost right down the street from the RV place, that sure does make it convenient.
I called Michelin tech support to confirm which model to use, and
the fairly young phone tech sounded like I just woke him up, and said basically all the RV tires were the same tread design.
Since the phone message left for me didn't include the 2+ part of XZE, and the web page didn't show the right size tire, I'm glad I called.
My interest lay in seeing if a more aggressive tire on the drive wheels made sense, or just a sure invitation for whine in the coach.
My guess is these all season, all position tires have great traction in the wet and dry, but what about in/on the mud/wet grass and much less likely, snow?
Just wondering how far I could back this thing on soft ground finding a special spot without getting myself stuck.
what I don't know is it there are any variations in truck tire balancing that I should be aware of. I'm assuming they have come out of the bubble balance days.
