Yes, I can see your picture just fine and it sure brought back memories when we went through Tea, SD, 4-5 yrs. ago. We stopped at a campground with a similar ground composition. It had rained the day before so our spot appeared a little soft. We actually had a little more gravel than you.
I noticed the next morning that my steps were a bit lower to the ground than I remember before going to bed. We sank an inch or two overnight. So, the next morning, I was concerned about getting out as we were angled at a slight upgrade to pull out. Well, my drive wheels just started to spin. I rolled back (with towed attached) and it would roll about three feet and start spinning again.
So, I thought... I'll put my co-pilot in the Honda with walkie-talkie's in hand. I'll give the go-ahead to hit the gas when I hit the diesel pedal. It was enough momentum to get us rolling. Our Honda saved the day!!!
Do you think that would have worked in your situation? Our little AWD Honda had just enough umpth to push a 40,000 lb. coach! LOL!
