Advice removing water stains on front curtains

A lot of your cleaners like "Goo-Gone and especially "Oops" are really similar to dry cleaning fluid. Our Monaco had stains along the bottom edge of the front curtains from dragging on the dash when they closed. Every once and awhile I would use "Oops" and saturate the dirty part, rub it a little and let it dry. It did a nice job on the curtains.
