Advice removing water stains on front curtains

We cleaned ours (pleated) by soaking them in the bath tub using oxy clean. Let them soak for and hour and rubbing them, then took them outside on the driveway and rinsed them off w/ a hose. Let them dry in the sun and then tied them up w/ pleats in place. They came out like new!!
