Triton is Ford's name for a line of their gasoline engines, including the V-10. The V-10 has an excellent reputation, good power and reliable. Mileage will be 6-8 mpg. The engine likes to rev and makes its power at a higher RPM than a diesel, but is very quiet while cruising on level terrain. Climb a grade and, yes, you'll hear the engine. 4-5000 RPM scares some people but it is NORMAL!!!! Ford chassis really the only option currently in a gas chassis as Chevy/Workhorse is not currently building RV chassis.
