ahhhh ... finally

Woo hoo. The weather has finally broke this weekend. Got my spring maintenance done on the MH today. Been going nuts waiting for this. Got most of it done. 75 items on the list. All systems good to go. 7 hours of getting it done. Just waiting to pressurize the water system in another week or so and test for leaks. It's amazing how much the battery connections loosen up on the aux batteries every year.

First trip is always Mother's Day weekend. Just a few more!!
  • Always love those times with a season right in front of you.
  • Sure am glad I'm a bit further south. Easter is my season start, even when it occurs in March.
  • Finally got our rig out of storage this past weekend as well. That's about three weeks longer than we usually get it out. Although it's stored inside all winter, it still gets extremely dusty just sitting for 5 months. So, now the dusting, cleaning, washing, polishing, scrubbing, vacuming etc. begins.

That, traditionally, is when I add water to my flooded wet cell batteries.
  • Get well soon, I know that feeling, Had a heart attack in January, not doing as much as I use to, not easy for me, I am a doer.

I have to wait till the end of May to pick up my Motorhome from Jayco, In for an upgrade to the bedroom door and a slide warranty issue. I bought the prototype of the 2015 Precept 35UN, So Jayco is basically making sure that everything is up to new standards since it's new, they are also giving me an Oil Change, Generator Service, and upgrading everything to 2016-2017 standards and materials. Plus I will get a delivery by the gentleman who trains their dealer on how to make a delivery. Looking forward to my trip back out to Jayco, they have covered all the costs involved with transporting to and from NJ.
